More about Honeybees

"Honey bee" typically refers to a single species of bee (Apis mellifera) native to Eurasia but now common throughout the world. Domesticated honey bees live in man-made hives and are used for pollinating crops and honey production, but they also frequently nest in the wild as well. They are the most abundant pollinator in many areas which can have negative impacts on native pollinators.
